An Ownership Journey · Tyreek Moore

You have done the work. You have shown up. You have tried things, adjusted, tried again. And still something is not moving the way you know it should. The gap does not feel like a lack of ability. It feels like something is in the way that you cannot quite name yet.

This book names it, and then hands you the operating system that closes it.

A working framework, not a summary
Everything Is Mine book cover

Ownership asks a different question. Not why is this happening. What is producing this result.

From Chapter One of the framework, The Core Declaration

Most people live in explanation. They explain why work has been overwhelming, why money feels tight, why relationships are strained, why life looks different than they imagined. Much of what they say is true. Circumstances matter. Markets shift. Other people's decisions affect us.

The problem is that explanation too often becomes the final word. It lets you describe your circumstances without ever examining the systems producing them. A person can be completely right about why something is difficult and still make no progress at all.

This book is built on one demanding principle. Everything Is Mine does not mean everything is your fault. It means everything that happens next is still yours to claim.

The Framework

The Ownership Operating System

The Ownership Operating System, ten principles from The Core Declaration at the base to Living as an Owner at the summit10. LIVINGAS AN OWNER9. SUSTAININGWHAT YOU CLAIM8. DESIGN OVER WILLPOWER7. RESPONSIBILITY WITHOUT BLAME6. IDENTITY BEFORE STRATEGY5. DISCIPLINE IS FREEDOM4. REACTION IS SURRENDER3. EFFORT IS NOT OWNERSHIP2. THE AND LIFE1. THE CORE DECLARATION

Base to summit · ten levels

Ten principles. They are not independent ideas. They are a progression. Each one makes the next one possible, and skipping a level does not speed anything up. It just moves the failure further down the line.

  1. 01

    The Core Declaration

Everything changes the moment you stop explaining your life and start owning your influence over it.

  2. 02

    The AND Life

Ownership rejects false choices and designs a life where competing priorities can coexist.

  3. 03

    Effort Is Not Ownership

Ownership shifts your focus from being busy to producing results through intentional systems.

  4. 04

    Reaction Is Surrender

You cannot own your future while your emotions continue to own you.

  5. 05

    Discipline Is Freedom

Discipline creates the consistency that turns intention into predictable results.

  6. 06

    Identity Before Strategy

Lasting change begins when your identity becomes stronger than your circumstances.

  7. 07

    Responsibility Without Blame

Owners pursue responsibility instead of blame because improvement matters more than excuses.

  8. 08

    Design Over Willpower

Sustainable success is built through intentional design, not repeated acts of willpower.

  9. 09

    Sustaining What You Claim

What you build only becomes yours when you can consistently sustain it.

  10. 10

    Living as an Owner

Ownership is no longer something you practice. It becomes who you are.

Inside the Book

A story first. Then a system.

Some truths are understood most deeply when they are experienced before they are explained. So the book opens with the life that produced the framework, and only then takes the framework apart.

Part I · Twelve chapters

The Ownership Journey

The narrative. A mother who left Mobile as a teenager and raised three children alone in the South Bronx. A boarding school application that was never a backup plan. The mentors who refused to let the story end early, and the break that nearly ended it anyway.

Each chapter closes with an Ownership Reflection in the author's own voice, naming the principle the story was quietly teaching.

Part II · Ten chapters

The Framework

The system itself. Each principle gets a full chapter built the same way: Confront, System Science, Personal Mirror, then three tools sized for an individual, an executive, and a leadership team.

Every tool runs the same sequence. Purpose, collect the data, example in practice, analyze the results, common pitfalls, what to do next, what changes, and what happens if you ignore this.

Preorder

Claim your copy

The book publishes January 12, 2027. The work starts the day you order.

Read it in order

The ten principles are a progression, not a menu. Each one addresses a limitation that prevents ownership and prepares you for the next.

Then run it as a diagnostic

When something breaks down, return to the principle built to address it. Blaming circumstances sends you back to The Core Declaration. Relying on motivation sends you to Design Over Willpower.

Every chapter carries tools

Understanding alone rarely changes behavior. The tools expose patterns, clarify blind spots, and identify contradictions, one set for you and one for the people you lead.

For Teams

Give it to the whole leadership team

Part II was built to be run together. The executive and leadership tools in every chapter assume a team is working the same framework at the same time, which is why organizations tend to order for a full leadership group rather than for one person.

Orders of twenty copies or more are placed through Porchlight Book Company, with custom quantities, direct shipping to multiple locations, and the option of a session with the author.

Reach out early even if the order will be placed later, so everything is ready when you need it.

The Author

Tyreek Moore

Founder and CEO, TJT Consulting Services

A single question has shaped his life and his work. What changes when we take full ownership of the lives we say we want.

Tyreek Moore is an entrepreneur, executive advisor, educator, and leadership strategist. Raised in the South Bronx, his path ran from circumstances that could easily have deterred his future to boarding school, Boston University, and ultimately Harvard University, where he earned his master's degree.

Along the way he built businesses, went through failure and bankruptcy, rebuilt, taught at the college level, and learned from mentors who fundamentally changed the way he understood success, discipline, responsibility, and human potential.

Today he is the Founder and CEO of TJT Consulting Services, a leadership and organizational consulting firm whose consultants work with executives, leadership teams, and organizations across executive coaching, leadership development, organizational strategy, culture transformation, and change management. He serves as a trusted advisor to senior executives navigating growth, transformation, and some of the most consequential challenges facing their organizations. He is also the founder of CultureVations.

Those experiences, combined with the lessons first modeled by his mother and reinforced by teachers, mentors, successes, failures, and the people he has had the privilege to coach, became the foundation of the Ownership Operating System, a practical framework for translating ownership from a belief into a way of living and leading.

Everything Is Mine is the culmination of that journey, and an invitation for others to begin their own.

Questions

Before you order

When does the book ship

Everything Is Mine publishes January 12, 2027. Preorders ship to arrive on or about that date, depending on the retailer you choose.

How will I know when preorder opens

Retailer links appear on this page as each storefront opens. Leaving your address in the preorder section is the fastest way to hear about it.

Which format should I buy

Part II asks you to answer things in writing, so readers who intend to run the tools tend to reach for the paperback or the hardcover. The eBook suits Part I and the narrative chapters. An audiobook edition is in production and will be announced separately.

Is this for individuals or for organizations

Both, by design. The framework is presented through the language of leadership, but it was written for anyone who wants greater ownership of their life. Every chapter in Part II carries three tools: one for a person working alone, one for an executive, and one for a leadership team.

Can the author speak to our organization

Keynotes and leadership sessions are booked through TJT Consulting Services. January 2027 dates are limited and tend to go to organizations placing team orders. Write to the address in the Teams section with your dates.
